The Cracker for Your Club
You have your friends. And then you have the people you can be your full, no-holds-barred self around. Who get to see your weird quirks and interests – and share a few of them, too. Who you can do absolutely nothing with and it’s the best night of your week. And when you’re with them, you just do what feels good - like busting out half a sleeve of buttery Club Crackers and talking with your mouth full. It’s at these true moments of comfort, that you’ve found more than friendship. You’ve found your Club.
We are going to put an unfiltered lens to incredibly intimate friendships as a call for everyone to find their own.
“GROUNDING” :15
Open with Olivia eating crackers. Julie walks in. The camera angle reveals Olivia is on the floor eating crackers.
Julie: What’re you doing?
Olivia: Trying to ground myself.
Julie: (Pauses) Is it working?
Olivia: See for yourself.
Julie shrugs and gets on the floor. She takes a bite of a Club Cracker.
SUPER: The cracker for your club.
“SPARE KEY” :15
Open on a person in the kitchen getting crackers and cheese. All is normal until the resident gets home. The resident shows her surprise that her friend walked right in. While both eating crackers and cheese, they have this exchange:
Resident: I never gave you a key.
Friend: You did when I was housesitting.
Resident: You gave it back.
Friend: It costs five bucks to make a copy.
SUPER: The cracker for your club.
